Picking up from April Part I, April Part II has a few more fun things.
Dan and I saw The Hunger Games for one of our dates. We loved the
movie. It was so touching I cried for half the movie. I can seem hard
in writing or on the surface, but I'm a softy at heart when you talk to
me. I'm a crier, a baby, or whatever you want to call me. Stop making
fun. Yeah I cried for the last hour of Revenge of the Sith, ok.

| We decided to add another trellis next to the house. We just love them. So while I watched Matt and Shelly's kids, Dan got to work and got it all done in a few hours. |
Get the glasses on and let's GO!!
My husband is a huge fan of Nirvana. This is totally for him.
Seaside. Where our hotel resort was.

The end of the Louis and Clark Trail
I'm a very inquisitive person. My mother tells me all the time that I should've gone to school for law and be a lawyer instead of a psychologist. But I think I like to diagnose people's problems and issues more than arguing. I like to be well rounded so of course on our vacation I decided to do a Timeshare tour of the resort next to our hotel. I wanted to ask the Real Estate person all the questions I had in mind about owning a timeshare. Not that I could afford one anytime soon but would love to own a timeshare with any family members interested in buying a timeshare in the future with me. It's so nice to own a place where you like to vacation often and can be guaranteed a nice suite when you visit. It doesn't make sense if you don't go there often, but if you have a hotspot and could get about 5 people in the family to buy with you, you could take turn using it throughout the year, even in the summer when hotspots could get really expensive. Long story short, I was very much interested in the tour and bored Dan and the kids to death with my hour long conversation with the manager and broker (We got $100 out of it so they stopped complaining pretty fast). But it is something I want to do in the future whenever it is that I get around to taking my licensing exam. I took a practice exam and took 4 hours on it so I'm dodging it at every turn just to do something else fun. I'm not as motivated as I was in college because I'm not trying to support myself or the family. Dan does a pretty good job and Real Estate then becomes a hobby and I'm a person with many hobbies and it's hard to prioritize.
The ship that was sunk, but not sunken. The girls really loved this because it's just like in Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.
Digging for the lost treasure
Seafood of course!!
We went to an expensive restaurant and the kids wanted mac and cheese. The hotdog was cut like an octopus.
Haystack Rock. Cannon Beach. For the Goonies fan; "HEY YOU GUYS!'
Beautiful sunsets every night before bedtime in Manzanita
A little stroll on the beach first thing in the morning
The Tillamook Cheese Factory
My favorite cheese was pepper and garlic.
38 flavors of ice cream. WOW!
| What a way to end a vacation. Chocolate milk and ice cream. |
My favorite native flowers of Washington. Magnolias and Camellias. They come in many different colors.
Since Seattle had a pretty harsh winter, it decided to give us a nice spring and it's looking like we're getting into Summer here with almost no rain since May hit. Dan had a business trip to Phoenix and is happy to return to cooler weather. We've had a BBQ already with our best friends, the Frasers, and new best friends, the Hurds. Awesome people. Frasers took us to the Mariners game with prime seats and Dan and Gene Hurd had a guys night out watching The Avengers and Emily Hurd and I can talk nonstop about everything. The Hurds kid is right between Reena and Debrie's age so they play together so well. But these are May news so goodbye 'til next time.
