Brie on her way to preschool.
I watched a friend's kids for a week while she was in the hospital and her kids and our kids are the same age. Her older girl is in Reena's kindergarten class and her 2 and 1/2 is now Debrie's new best friend.Oklahoma!
Dan and I went and saw Oklahoma at our favorite theater, the 5th Avenue Theater. It was such a wonderful musical. We sang "Oh what a beautiful day" for weeks after.

The KidsQuest Museum
A friend of mine bought a membership to this cool place and had 2 extra tickets so she called me up and invited me to come with her. We took our kids here and they had a blast. My kids are spoiled!
A friend of mine from High School and College had a conference in Seattle and she messaged me up and we got together for a short visit. We took her around town and had a fun fun catching up afterward at our house. I'm grateful for friends.
Our Valentines
Reena had a lot of fun making her Valentine's cards for her classmates. I actually went out looking for cards to buy but decided against it. I have all the stuff to make it so why not. I punch out the embellishment and she glued them to the cards and wrote in them.
Olive Garden was the restaurant we picked for our romantic Valentine's dinner and we wanted the kids to come also since they're into the Valentine spirit, too. But of course with the kids there's no such thing as romantic. Debrie fell asleep on the way there and woke up cranky and then had an accident and peed all over her daddy. She was upset with him and didn't tell him she needed to go. Oh well, the food was good and we made up with gift exchange. I made a cute bottle with hershey's kisses inside for Dan to take to work and I got clothes!!
She melts my heart with her smile.

We had some friends over for dinner one day and their little boy had a birthday on that day. Being a party lover I could not bare the fact that he just had a cake so I reached in my many boxes of party items and put together a little party for him. We had all sort of themes but hey, he thought it was great.
In Debrie's preschool we learned to make bread and butter. For family home evening one night we made butter and had a lesson on self reliance. It was a lot of fun for the kids to watch the heavy whipping cream slowly turning into butter. The best part was of course eating the butter with rolls.
We have a lot of fun but it's not all play around here. We work hard but we also play hard. DanAbout every other section will be a trellis. We're planning on putting cucumber vines, grape vines, and kiwi on them. Can't wait to see the complete work. I'm so proud of my handy man!
Mopping the floor. Didn't think they would enjoy it this much. I'm glad we made 3/4 of our 1st floor wood to create more jobs for them :)
That's all the exciting stuff. Oh wait, one more. Dan is taking a class in robotics to sharpen his skills in hardware. I'm still on Real Estate practices, learning the "how to do it" now after learning all the Real Estate principles. Our regular week usually involves kindergarten, preschool, gymnastics for both girls, a lot of playdates with friends at our house. Every week I have Reena's friends from school asking if they could come over to our house to play. We made sure to have our builder leave the space underneath the stairway so the kids could have a toy closet for dress up and small toys.

My life seems complete as I wait each day for my love to come home from work and to hang out with my peeps during the day. Sometimes the best days are those that we go on walks around the park and trails by our house and enjoy the beauty that's around us. We see a lot of rainbows and that's also a bonus. This month we saw a double rainbow and the girls just screamed because they thought that was so cool. Rain or shine we love Seattle.
