A New Year

This just happened to me.  I wrote a blog post last Monday and have been adding a few things to this blog entry and in one short clicked I lost it and the darn auto save saved at the wrong time and saved the empty entry.  GRRRRRRR!!!  You're in for a short blog.

Honestly I don't recall January as all that exciting.  We spent a lot of time doing the normal routine that I will save you some boredom by not mentioning.  We did however were determined to finish the unfinished work and these are them:
I did some removing of the cabinet stains, but after some hours decided to hire some people to finish the work.  Voila!!

Blanket number three took much longer to finish but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
Finally finished the canvas I started 2 years ago.  Oh it feels amazing to finish the things you started oh so long ago.  Dan finally got around to making me the jewelry frame for my jewelry business that I started a year ago!  Applause for both of us!
The girls helped with the shopping and picking out hair clips for their new twin cousins!

And thank you cards were made.  In case you didn't get a thank you card, know that you were thought of.  I love card making and giving, my family don't really use it so yes the written out cards are still sitting here.  We have so much mail.  I wish everything is digital now.  Dan will go through the mail sometime and realized he had missed a newsletter from his family or look, a check for $500 bucks for us.  I wish the latter comes more often.

We spent a lot of times outdoor.  January was very sunny, but cold

A baby shower for a dear friend
An amazing comeback for the Hawks!

Amazon party!  With WEEZER!!!!  It was one of those concerts Dan and I could sing to almost every song

Then the following weekend we and our besties got babysitters and went out on a double date to the scrumptious Melting Pot

Here are a few pics of our routines
Shopping at Lowes and Home Depot (Ronin's favorite) for home projects
Teaching music to moms and tots at the community center.  Our numbers keep getting bigger and bigger.
 Eating at Ben and Jerry's
Watching cool dads flying helicopters at the park infront of our house
JAMMING on the guitars with friends every other Saturday
 Hanging out with neighbors
 Going on cool walks

Coming up next:  My short hair cut, Ba Ngoai's visit to Seattle, The Seahawks in the Superbowl
