September Part I

Just have to include my stats for tonight in this post so I have it down on record.  We said our good night as usual but tonight was so much more special. I began hugging my oldest, who is just about as tall as me and I held her real tight and I said "I miss you being my baby". She began to cry, and teared up even more as we hugged. She really really missed being a baby in my arms, but even more so she missed my long hugs. Oh having a baby has made me a bad mother for my older kids were my thoughts. How could I? My eyes began swelling up with tears as well and my other daughter saw the whole thing and came over and hugged me and cried, too. My sweet girls. I have been so busy with my 2 youngest that I have neglected my older kids emotionally. They expressed how much they missed it. May I never forget again to hold them tight each day. They grow up so fast. They reminded me of when my mother came to visit and I would crawl in bed with her and hold her tight and cry because I had longed for that motherly touch. My heart is truly truly full tonight. I love these kids. They do mean the world to me and they grow up so fast, too fast.
Now back to September!
September was beautiful because we started getting some leaves changing colors but it was still nice and warm out. So Labor Day weekend we took the family camping.  We drove 3.5 hrs away from the city to a new place we've never been to.  Lake Chelan.  We camped and then treated ourselves to the nice Lake Chelan Waterpark the next day.

Remember Remlinger farm? This was a lot of fun for the kiddos

My sister Thao came and visited us with her family.  She and her family were making the move from Albany, NY to Boise ID and she drove along the East coast to visit with each family member and then flew to Seattle to be with us for one week.   One thing that my siblings do a really good job with is taking time for the kids.  I was afraid it would change once my sister has kids, but it isn't the case.  She visits us even more now that she has kids and we video chat with each other more so the cousins know each other better.
This is my sweet nephew Zach.  I love this kid!  He loves singing and making movies with me and will ask me often to see Aunt Thuan and Zachary video.  Love him like one of my own!

Roro went through a stick his hands in his pants stage.

My sister was obsessed with blackberry picking.  We ended up picking about 6 lbs

We went biking around the neighborhood

 We went on the ferry

We went to the gym and worked out

Our friend Brian took us out on the lake on his boat
