Friends, Food, and Wedding

Ok it is 10:00 PM on Sunday and I have 1 hour to catch us up on the last two weeks. I hope I can in 1 hour. Dan can sit down and within 10 minutes post an awesome long blog about the weather (like below) but I will often get distracted by pretty much everything around me. OK FOCUS. Key of LIFE.

What a wonderful 2 weeks we've just had. It's been extremely busy around here. We finalized the architectural layout of our house, I helped plan a wedding, made food for it, did a little wedding photography, and started opera lessons. A little girl at church told her mom to tell me after i performed a solo in church last week that I'm the prettiest singer she's ever seen and wanted to grow up to be like me. That's all I needed to hear and then I was on a roll. Our counselor in the bishopric often asks me if there's anything I don't do and I guess the answer is, if it's artistic, I'm there. Counseling is an art!

Dan had a visit from a friend and coworker. He convinced one of his old friends/coworker from Wahoo, the studio he previously worked at to apply to Amazon and he did. He was flown up for an interview so Dan took him out to eat and showed him Seattle. He also brought him home for dinner and we hope he'll get the job. Mostly so Dan can have his friend here but also because we'll get $1000 if he gets hired. Fingers crossed.

Brie is growing beautifully and is bigger and taller everyday. She is still way above average for height and slowing down on the weight but still above average because she was born big. She is now pushing herself to standing position and will stand there for about 10 seconds. She'll be walking before her birthday is my guess.
Brie just got her 4th tooth in this week. Finally she's gonna start being a little bit more symmetrical. She's been asymmetrical the last several weeks. Like this!

Reena made $70 this week selling her hairclips to the moms at the gym and her dance class without much sweat. She was wearing one of the hairclips I had made for her back in October and one of the moms thought that it was so cute so she asked me if I could make 10 of them for her daughter who was having a birthday this week. I love it when people are rich and they start handing out money. Story short, Reena and I have made this many!
She also attended 2 birthday parties and gave out a lot of hairclips for her friends, both were girls. Perfect!

Her highlight this week was washing the car with dad! Don't you love kids and what they get excited about?!

We're excited Uncle Dave's family and Dave and his family will be joining us in this beautiful coastal city. Yay for more family. I married into the best family. No doubt. Wish more people could be here with us so we can all go boating! On this! No need to drive far! Just hop on.

Seattle is so much fun and we love it. Spring is here and the colors are stunning! It's always green here but now it's greener. We love the green. My favorite color! Go GREEN!

Our land searching continues. Will update ya'll when we are satisfied or given up. We're hoping for a view.
