What a wonderful week we just had. We had our grandparents, the kids great grandparents here for 4 days. We couldn't have had it any other way. We had so much fun and the kids adore their grandparents. First day of arrival they were greeted with a little sprinkle of Seattle rain (something everyone hopes to see when they're in Seattle:), but that lasted for 5 minutes and then there was sunshine. That's spring! They got to witness that even though the forecast says it's going to rain that doesn't mean no sun, otherwise would there be over 3 million people live here? Well we were sure glad the weather was great for them so we could do these things!
First day: We took them on the Viaduct to see Puget Sound, took them to the International District close to Dan's work and had them try Dim Sum for the first time. Then the kids and I took them to the Space Needle where upon we saw the whole Seattle metropolitan area from above.
Naturally I forgot my camera but here is a pic from G'ma and G'pa's camera to prove that the kids loved them right away. I think we should've donated our other camera, or at least my phone, to them.Second Day we went to Snoqualmie Pass, Lake Sammamish, and had a 5 course dinner and lots of joking around with grandpa. Now he sees the sarcasm side of me. BTW grandpa's the best person to use sarcasms on. A well spent day.
Fourth Day Snoqualmie Falls - A must see place. An inexpensive beauty. Needless to say, great grandma and great grandpa loved it. Spring here is beautiful. This year it came around mid February with lots of sunshines. The light green leaves and the dark evergreens provided a lot of beauty!
Time flew by too quickly when we were having fun. We didn't want to say goodbye. We wish everyday could be like the last 4 days.

Dear Dan and Thuan,
This was wonderful to see the pictures and relive the memories of our trip. We loved it and miss our beautiful little girls. They are so sweet. Thank goodness we have memories - one of the greatest blessings the Lord has given us is the ability to carry these memories in our mind. We had a great visit and wish that time did not pass so fast. When we were married I thought that it would be eternity before we grew old - but it seems like we just turn around and blink our eyes and the time is gone. Grandpa will be 80 on Sunday and we will be married 60 years on Aug. 11th. It seems as if we just started having children and now our children are grandparents! So enjoy your children - you think you have them for so long but it is no time before they are grown and leave home. Thanks again for everything - we had such a wonderful time and wonderful memories.
Much love, Grandma and Grandpa
I loved reading about the Evan's visit! Loved seeing their photos too! It's been over 20 yrs since we've seen them! You have a beautiful family and I had to laugh when you said Grandpa was a great person to be sarcastic with! hahaha! So true! They are such great people! And Bishop Evans (he was my Bishop) was like my "spiritual father-figure" when my parents were still inactive. He and Sis. Evans were the ones that went with me through the Temple when I got my endowments out. LOVE THEM!!! Your little girls are just adorable too! You are very blessed! :)
