November Movember

The month of December started with a Girls Night Out for me.  We had a great time.  It's always a good time when my favorite girls and I get together.  Danielle, Kim, Wendy, Carrissa.  Then Brie wanted pumpkin pie a lot but since I didn't have the ingredients for pumpkin pie I made pumpkin cheesecake with the pumpkin I didn't have time to carve and the kids made the crusts.  They had a lot of fun cutting out heart shapes for the crust and the pie was so yummy!  We invited some people over to eat the pie with us.

Ok ignore the really big shirt which I usually buy so they last longer, isn't he just a handsome lil' dude?  Oh my those round orbs.  He is just gorgeous.
Oh did I mention that we had dinner in a pumpkin?  yum!

I lost 10 pounds and fit into my skinny jeans again, pretty awesome
But then it's Thanksgiving season and in America that means sweets!!  So no diet until after the Holidays
But Debrie, Ronin and I try to go on as many walk as we can, especially when the sun is shining which the first part of November was just plane beautiful, cold but beautiful.
We got a new diaper bag because seriously we need a nicer one and it's time
We met up with some friends we haven't seen for a while and swam one afternoon

And there, my darling kids again and who the heck is this dude? Oh that would be my husband doing the silly movember prostate cancer awareness thing.  I'm not a fan of facial hair.

But hey this man got a nice bonus from Amazon which got us this beautiful car.  I think I'll keep him.  We did so many test drives since last winter and we finally have enough saved up for this beauty.  I tried my hardest to fight for an SUV but sliding doors, ah just wins.  We added some accessories to make it look like an SUV and black is just hip in my opinion.  Sold!  We built one online and when I laid eye on it, it was an easier decision than I thought.  The girls wanted a rear entertainment system but their dad talked some senses into them.  He asked if they'd rather a tablet on every seat or the RES and of course the better option was tablet on every seat.  You can play games, watch movies, draw, etc for a whole lot less than the RES.

Gosh he's getting big cheeks and they are just yummy.

And then guess who came into town?!!!!  Ahhhh!!!  It's our very favorite uncle from Scotland and the greatest aunt in the world!!! Aunt Thuyen.  The kids were in heaven!!  Pampered and showered with much LOVE!!!!!

Our Thanksgiving dinner was lovely!  We had a lot of yummy food and the best part was i didn't have to do a whole lot.  My favorite was brine and cooked the turkey and making pies.  Our friends the Holdens brought a few more pies and the Strobells brought rolls and casserole and sweet potatoes and everyone helped put together a great delicious meal.

And after the feast was had by all, Nama and Papa came!  What a treat!!!!  So much cuddling and loving.  So so sweet.  The kids were bouncing off the wall with all the attention they were getting.  We had a great time hanging out but we also had a fun time attending Reena's second cousin Ellie's baptism.  After that event we took Nama and Papa to Issaquah's famous Triple XXX burger for some crazy huge burgers and root beer floats.
