Korea Part II Novermber 2018

Gyeongbokgung Palace

It is now over 1 year since we were in Korea and I am now just blogging about it.  I can hardly believe it's been over a year.  How could it have been.  We've seen so much, done so much and I was so ready to settle back down, sit down and have some tea (herbal for some wondering why I'm Mormon and drink tea).  Since getting back to our house I've been meeting up with friends, getting kids to school, having friends over and teaching music and English online again.  It's bittersweet to be back.  There are goods and bads.  The good is that we get to be in our home again and for the 3 big kids it's amazing.  For little Darion he is still wondering why we are here in this hotel for so long.  Previous to returning home he was bouncing from home to home, hotel to hotel.  We might have screwed him over.
Traveling though is lively, adventurous, and free.  I feel younger when I travel.  My day is always fun and new.  Never a dull moment to think of yourself.  It's with fond memories when I look back to that ever exciting life.  2019 was so freaken AMAZING!  Ok here is Korea part II.

Bukchon Hanok Village

We wanted the whole family to get dressed up in traditional Korean Hanbok but they refused so it was just us 2.

Seoul Tower
Our friend Sangcheol Son took up to the top of the Seoul tower and bought us a gift.  He rented a car and took us to Daegu and he told us he borrowed the car from a friend but really it was a rental car.  He is just the sweetest.

The food was my favorite part of Korea

Piano stairs??!!! So freaken fun!

Brie started busting out with her repertoire and people were gathering around her.  Korea loves music. They have pianos inside their subway.
